Founded in October 1994 by Robert L. Werner, Jr., First Technologies, Inc. provides curriculum, computer hardware and software, lab equipment, and lab furniture to teachers, administrators, and school districts across the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. First Technologies, Inc. provides on-site training, workshops, and follow-up training for instructors at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels, and at industrial training facilities throughout these states as well.

First Technologies, Inc. also takes pride in its support and sponsorship of Wisconsin technology organizations such as the Wisconsin Skills USA State Contest and Wisconsin Technology Education Association (WTEA).

Beginning in 1988, prior to founding First Technologies, Inc., Robert Werner provided technology education products, service, training, and support to the state of Wisconsin. Since its establishment in 1994, First Technologies, Inc. has provided the above mentioned services in Wisconsin.  In 1998, the company expanded into the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. First Technologies, Inc. supports the Minnesota Technology and Engineering Educators Association (MTEEA), the South Dakota Association for Career and Technology Education (SDACTE), and others, and plans to continue its tradition of excellence in sales, service, and support across the entire territory.

Robert Werner received the State of Wisconsin Business & Industry Partnership Award in both 1994 & 1996. First Technologies, Inc. has received awards recently from WACTE, ATEA, and SkillsUSA-VICA. First Technologies, Inc. is proud to be recognized for our service and training accomplishments in the education field.
